The story behind Aneta Nayan
Music was always present at Aneta's home, although her parents weren't musicians. Her mother used to sing lullabies or folk songs and her father played guitar a bit, he sang too. His collection of albums has let Aneta know a bunch of great artists and was a big infuluence for her future development.
Aneta was always a happy and brave girl, so the stage was a place she felt great. She composed the first song, that she sang in public when she was 11. Her mother took her to the music school: she was a student of piano for six years. Then she decided to continue her music education in The Witold Lustoslawski General Secondary Music School (for the next 6 years) on piano & eurhythmics faculty. There, she sang in a female choir Schola Cantorum Bialostociensis, surrounded by great classical vocalists. They had a chance to be a part of two little musicals for children. This is when Aneta's interests for musical-genre have started. She wanted to link singing, dancing and acting together.
So that, in June 2012 she got accepted as a student of Musical at The Stanislaw Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk. She didn’t stay there long though. Soon she realized, that she didn’t want to play a character – but she wanted to appear as the same one person, under her own name. She decided to try another road. Her next goal was jazz in Brussels. In September 2013 she became a jazz vocal student of David Linx at The Royal Conservatory of Brussels, where she is still studying.
In November 2015 she released her EP "Her Eyes" with the Portuguese label Blim Records.
